This sustainable model succeeds to access quality eye care to all economic strata of the community and to multiply productivity of the mentee hospitals. Accordingly, the AMF has been globally recognized through winning the international prize of the Arab Gulf Program for United Nations Development Organizations "AGFUND" dedicated for NGOs fighting visual disability in the year of 2008.
